Richard competed in the 1999 RAC Rally in the UK and was 20th Group N in an Evo 3 Lancer. He was 3rd overall in the 2005 Mainland Rally series in Classics. Richard recently attended the John Haugland Rally School in Norway and competed in the Gol Mountain Rally 2006. He also has a MKI Escort and 3 MKII Escorts which are available for lease for the NZ Silver Fern Rally.
