SS37: “Bit greasy in there”
SS35: “Tailor made stage. Right up the old girls alley & probably mine as well. Probably be the best stage of the rally”
SS31 & SS32: “The Taumaranui taxi is going real well. The diff has been sorted and the rear re-built. We put in a new/second hand sub frame overnight”
SS29: “That was a good stage. The crew have done a temporary repair on the diff underneath”
SS23: “We were extremely lucky, we’re here by the skin of our teeth after the long stage”
SS22: “We missed our crew at the stage & it appears that at approx 100m from finish we ran out of gas. I put my foot down to get us home & spun out after the finish, was assisted onto the road & completed time control in neutral, reversing”
SS19: “The old girl really stretches her legs on roads like that. Gave the brows some respect, I’m too old to be that brave”
SS16, SS17, SS18: “Tauramanui has fog, but not when you’re driving that fast, that high”
SS14: “Gets the juices flowing eh.”
SS7 & SS8: “Could be starting to get to grips with it. But I’ve got to be careful to stop the red mist”
SS1: Tough on brakes
